On offer is this stunning montage of Doris Day as Calamity Jane. A superb signature accompanied by 2 black & white photographs. This has then been double mounted and followed by a black slip. The moulding is black and compliments the overall montage.

Doris Day (born Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff; April 3, 1924) is an American actress and singer, and an outspoken animal rights activist since her retirement from show business. Her entertainment career began in the 1940s as a big band singer. In 1945 she had her first hit recording, "Sentimental Journey". In 1948, she appeared in her first film, Romance on the High Seas. During her entertainment career, she appeared in 39 films, recorded more than 650 songs, received an Academy Award nomination, won a Golden Globe and a Grammy Award, and, in 1989, received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in motion pictures.

Calamity Jane is a "Wild West"-themed film musical released in 1953. It is loosely based on the life of Wild West heroine Calamity Jane and explores an alleged romance between Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok in the American Old West. The film starred Doris Day as the title character and Howard Keel as Hickok. It was devised by Warner Brothers in response to the success of Annie Get Your Gun.

It won the Academy Award for Best Original Song ("Secret Love", Sammy Fain and Paul Francis Webster) and was also nominated for Scoring of a Musical Picture and Best Sound, Recording.

The songs and screenplay form the basis of a stage musical of the same name that has had a number of productions. The film was also adapted for television in 1963, with Carol Burnett in the title role.

As of 2009, Day was the top-ranking female box office star of all time and ranked sixth among the top ten box office performers (male and female).
